| Charters |
|
A charter is a local (national or regional) organization supported by IACVA headquarters and is charged with providing trainings and support to our associate members. It governs the ethical and professional performance of members and develops local best practices that comply with IACVA¨s standards. It oversees that credentials members fulfill their continuing education requirements.
A charter must be registered with local government and comply with local laws. It works under the guidance of local Board of Directors/Governors and various committees. It serves as a bridge to connect individual practitioners with the global network of IACVA¨s talents. It sponsors events, seminars or conferences for the benefit of our members. It shares industry research and resources free of charge or at a minimal costs. It strives to provide leadership in the business valuation industry and fraud deterrence field.
IACVA currently has 7 charters that cover 20 countries and regions: the United States, China, Germany, Ghana, Korea, Lebanon, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Kuwait, Austria, Australia, Canada, Argentina and Taiwan.
In 2011, IACVA charters sponsor or co-sponsors these major conferences:
Bangkok, Thailand (May 10th and 11th)
Beijing, China (May 28th)
San Diego, the United States (June 8th to 11th)
Duesseldorf, Germany (November 10th and 11th).
